VIDEO Vintage Emma Stone singing on “In Search of the Partridge Family”

Contrary to some people’s conceptualizations celebrities do not just descend upon us from the heavens. They work hard trying to establish a career fighting tooth and nail and sometimes signing competition to earn their fame and careers. This is no different for current Miss Thang Emma Stone.

The Easy A starlet has been a go getter for years as is evidence from this wonderful 2004 clip of the then brunette actress singing her butt off in VH1’s competition called “In Search of the Partridge Family.” At the time the winners were going to be part of a resurrected cast of the classic hit show but it never even made it past the pilot so even the winners (like Emma who scored the role of Laurie Partridge) on this gem were eventual losers.

Here’s Emma “like a rolling” Stone belting out Pat Benatar’s awesome ballad “We Belong.”

Emma recently has been signed to a contract with makeup giant Revlon as a new face along with Olivia Wilde. Her next upcoming major role will be in the anticipated film The Amazing Spider Man as Gwen Stacy. You know that tune has always been one of my favorites so here’s the original straight from Benatar:

Emma, you’ve earned your current success and there’s now eternal embarrassing video of you from VH1 to prove it.
