VIDEO Rape footage from lost Lana Del Rey film leaks online

FX's 'Sons Of Anarchy' premiere

About a year ago, director Eli Roth–perhaps best-known for the torture porn film Hostel–spoke in an interview of a project he had worked on with Lana Del Rey and Marilyn Manson.

The video, he said, was “so sick it has been locked in a vault for over a year.”

Apparently, someone found the keys, because the video has leaked online. And what it contains is getting attention for all the wrong reasons.

Allegedly a short film entitled “Sturmgruppe” (German for “Assault group”), the footage features Roth sexually assaulting singer Lana Del Rey at a birthday party, while balloons featuring the word “RAPE” float nearby.

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson also appears in the video. It’s worth pointing out, though, that while an ambient soundtrack accompanies the disturbing footage, it doesn’t appear to be a music video. And “Sturmgruppe” is not the name of a Marilyn Manson song (or, at least, not one that’s been released yet).

Manson’s rep, Kathryn Frazier, has acted quickly to distance him from the controversy: “”Manson did not direct this, shoot it, nor was it for a Marilyn Manson video or outtake footage made by him or to be used by him with his music.”

Frazier added, “It must be a fan video splicing up old Manson video footage with someone else’s Lana Del Rey footage.”

Whatever the video is, it was pulled from YouTube for several hours, before spreading elsewhere and being put back up. One South American Lana Del Rey fan group offered the video below. Judge for yourself whether the film should have stayed in its vault:
