VIDEO Lady Gaga performs “Judas” on Ellen DeGeneres Show

Lady Gaga was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today and she treated the world to the first televised performance of her new single “Judas” from her much-anticipated sophomore album Born This Way.

Prior to singing the new tune Lady Gaga talked with Ellen about working hard and what it takes to have more faith and hope in the future and how she thinks of herself as a loser sometimes. To maintain chronological integrity (and to build suspense for the performance) here’s the interview first:

So what’d ya think? I’m not quite sold on the song yet, but I’ll give it a few more listens because Lady Gaga’s tunes have a tendency to grow on me over time. The performance did produce one of my favorite Lady Gaga photos of all time though:
