Deanna Favre went on Good Morning America this morning to discuss her new new book The Cure for the Chronic Life and agreed to talk briefly about the scandal involving text messages, voice mails and obscene photos allegedly sent by her husband Brett Favre to Jets reporter Jenn Sterger two years ago.
GMA interviewer Robin Roberts handled the topic very gingerly, although she did point out that Brett Favre hasn’t come out and denied any of the allegations.

I’m handling this through faith Robin. We were talking earlier about a verse that I have on my fridge, Isaiah 41:9-13 actually, is on my fridge right now. “Don’t be afraid. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.” That’s what I’m leaning on.
I’m a woman of faith and faith has gotten me through many difficult struggles. It will get me through this one.
You have to not let this struggle define you. You have to define your struggle and use it in a good way. You can turn this into success in some way, shape or form.
The Brett Favre scrotograph controversy comes at a terrible time for Deanna – not that there is ever a good time for a scrotograph controversy. Here is a woman who found out she had breast cancer four days after her 24-year-old brother died in an ATV accident. She was able to overcome all of those obstacles and is trying to share what she has learned with a new book and through the efforts of her Favre 4 Hope foundation that helps raise money for disadvantaged and disabled children as well as women diagnosed with breast cancer. All of these noble intentions are completely muted by her husbands resounding silence and images of his Green Bay packer.
