TEEN MOM Lexi Tatman gives birth to third child, daughter Sophia
CONGRATULATIONS to former Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant star Lexi Tatman Lopez and her husband Kyler Lopez as the couple just welcomed their third child, a baby girl named Sophia June!
Lexi made the birth announcement with an Instagram gallery post revealing that Sophia arrived at 8:56PM on August 13. She weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and measured 18 inches. In the photos, we get a glimpse at Sophia’s full head of hair and her foot.
“Miss Sophia June Lopez🤍🌞 🌈,” Lexi captioned the gallery. “Welcome to the world sunshine girl.”
The gallery post section was quickly filled with positive comments, and Lexi shared a lengthy response:
Thank you all for the well wishes 🤍 obviously a tremendous shout out to my phenomenal husband. My love, thank you for being the best, the best support person, the best dad and all around the best partner ever. I could write a million and one words to show my love and gratitude to you but I will save it for us🤍I will absolutely add more about the last few months, issues we experienced, labor and more. My labor and delivery team were AMAZING and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of medical professionals 🤍
Sophia joins older brothers Tobias (8) and Jay, who turns 7 later this month.
You may have noticed Lexi’s use of the rainbow emoji in her gallery caption. After having her second child, Lexi struggled with secondary infertility. Prior to getting pregnant with Sophia, Lexi suffered four early miscarriages.
Lexi waited until she reached the second trimester with Sophia before posting about the pregnancy, and also sharing details about the rough road getting there:
Congratulations again to Lexi and Kyler! It’s wonderful that they have defied the odds and managed to remain together and build a beautiful family after Lexi gave birth at 17. 🤗
