Things got extremely real for reality TV’s Brittany and Briana DeJesus during Wednesday’s episode of Family Therapy With Dr. Jenn.
During a therapy session the former Teen Mom 3 cast members’ mom, Roxanne, revealed that their dad, who is sister Briana’s biological father, is not Brittany’s biological father. While trying to hold back tears Roxanne said, “Daddy’s not your daddy.”
Brittany is stunned and asked to walk out adding, “I’m going to throw up all over you in like 2.5 seconds.”
As Dr. Jenn attempted to console Brittany outside, Briana asked her mom who Brittany’s biological father is and Roxanne informed Briana that he’s dead. This news overwhelmed Briana and left her weeping as she asked, “Why didn’t you tell us?”
Roxanne explained to Briana that her intention was always to protect her daughters. She said that she met Briana’s biological father and the man both sisters know as dad when Brittany was 12-months-old.
Briana rushed outside to console her sister and to let her know that she will always love and support her no matter what. Roxanne followed behind and told Brittany, “He raised you like his own. That is your daddy.”
After the episode aired, Brittany shared an Instagram pic of her biological father holding her as a baby. She wrote, “All my life I felt like a black sheep, like a piece of me was missing, and that piece was you. At the age of three years old you were taken from me, and I wish things were different but we can’t change what’s already been done. I know one day we’ll meet again. I love you dad. Thank you to everyone who has shown me so much love and support. It means so much to me and I appreciate you all.”
