Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have called it quits. After a turmoil-filled few months, multiple sources confirm that these two are finally going their separate ways. Since February, Miley and Liam have been plagued with break-up rumors but Miley continued to deny them despite being spotted without her wedding ring on several occasions. Now, it looks like her ring is off for good.
“They are definitely over,” a source confirms to Us Weekly.
Miley and Liam’s problems first began after Liam was spotted leaving an Oscar bash with actress January Jones. That same night, Miley was asked about her fiance on the red carpet where she told press she wasn’t sure of his whereabouts.
From there, the two took a short break, putting their wedding plans on hold and spending some time apart. During the break, Liam traveled to Australia where he spent time with family including his brother Chris and his wife. Meanwhile, Miley was spotted without her ring in Los Angeles.
Earlier this month, it appeared as though the two had reconciled after they were spotted getting cozy during a party at Miley’s home. Reports even claimed that their wedding was back on. “She was kissing him,” a witness at the party revealed to Us. “They were definitely back on.”
Still, friends insisted that their relationship would fizzle.
During a recent interview with V Magazine, Miley opened up about her and Liam’s relationship. “I’m not home with my boyfriend all the time. We work,” she said. “I don’t have time go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don’t. I’d rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him. And then I’m at the studio all day. He gets up to work out at six and I come home at five from the studio.”
Miley and Liam met on the set of 2009’s The Last Song and became engaged last June.
