REPORT Kim Kardashian to quit reality TV and Keeping Up With The Kardashians after nine seasons

UPDATE: Kim responded to speculation that she was quitting on her blog. Turns out she’s not walking away from reality TV anytime soon.

As everyone knows, we are extremely proud of the show and all of us are staying on through at least season 10. The show remains to be my number 1 priority and it’s a big part of my life and I enjoy every moment of it. It has given me such a rare opportunity to share more of my life with all of you and has brought my family closer to each other.”

Kim Kardashian and her family have been on reality TV for years now. But for Kim, this upcoming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians may be her last. Although the pregnant Kim has yet to make the official announcement, she is hinting that her life is heading in a different direction.

“I think there’s always an evolution of, you know, what you want to do in life,” Kim recently told Dujour Magazine. “It’s all about finding things that really excite you and motivate you and spark you all over again. I’m realizing that no matter what, if you go into something with all these expectations and plans, once you’re actually living it, it could be completely different.”

With a baby on board, Kim’s life is changing and since she doesn’t want her son or daughter on the show, she would be extremely limited with her role — especially while the child is young. And that may be why she may opt to step away from the show entirely.

“Doing a TV show with your family, it’s really hard to hide or be guarded. Besides, we don’t want to film a show if we can’t be who we are, because that’s just too much work.”

In April of last year, E! signed a new three-year deal with the Kardashian family (Kim included) estimated at $40 million which would keep the series on air until 2015. So, if Kim does plan on quitting, she may have a few hurdles ahead of her.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians season 8 is set to debut this July.

What do you think? Should Kim K walk away from reality TV?
