According to several new reports, the rumors of a Kourtney Kardashian feud are true–and the feud is with mother Kris Jenner. Kourtney doesn’t like Kris visiting Scott Disick during Scott’s fourth try at rehab; in addition to that, she has a very specific reason for wanting Kris, along with the rest of her family, to stay away.
For starters, In Touch reports that the Kourtney Kardashian feud with Kris Jenner began after Kris left Kourtney’s Halloween party this weekend to see Scott…and took the pair’s three children with her. It’s not known whether Kris told Kourtney she was taking the kids along, but Kourtney’s reaction was swift: “[She], of course, was livid that Kris went to see him. She went nuclear on Kris,” said the magazine’s source, who thinks that the motives for such a visit were completely financial.
“It was a stab at trying to smooth things over with Scott,” the source continued. “[Kris] wants he and Kourtney to get back together, and she wants it all documented on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
That report jives with what other insiders, close to the family, have reported. Said another, “Kourtney cannot even believe that Kris still talks to Scott after everything that has gone down.” Kourtney and Scott have been separated since this past July; Scott checked himself into rehab two weeks ago, in an attempt at getting himself clean and winning Kourtney back.
“She is outraged that Kris even allows Scott camera time,” said the second insider. But camera time, of course, is alleged to be Kris’ plan: “[She] wants to make this whole thing drag out as long as possible so that it gets show ratings.”
Why is there a Kourtney Kardashian feud at all, then–why won’t she simply go and visit Disick herself? Kourtney is allegedly afraid of getting both her and Scott’s hopes up; she believes that this is one battle he has to fight entirely on his own. “While she’s encouraging when it comes to his rehab, Kourtney doesn’t want to give Scott false hope in getting back together,” reported a third friend. “[Kourtney] feels that she might give Scott mixed signals if she drops everything and visits him, and she’s still on the fence with what to do next in their relationship.”
Disick checked himself into the Malibu treatment facility; it’s not known exactly how long his stint is expected to last, or whether he can check himself back out, as well. This is Scott Disick’s fourth attempt at rehab for alcohol and drug abuse.
