As a former star of The Hills, Brody Jenner is no stranger to reality television. However, he’s largely kept away from Keeping Up with the Kardashians. That’s set to change later this year, as In Touch Magazine is reporting that Jenner will make regular appearances on the show that follows his dad, sisters, step-mother and step-siblings.
“Brody Jenner is going to be a full-time cast member on the next season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” a production insider told In Touch.
Step-sister Khloe also seemed to confirm the news with a March 4 post on her Celebuzz blog.
“I’m always excited for each new season of Keeping Up Wwith the Kardashians, but I’m especially excited for this upcoming season because you’re going to be seeing a lot more of the Kardashian/Jenner clan! My stepbrothers, Brody and Brandon, and Brandon’s wife Leah are going to be on the show much more, which means an even closer look into the inner-workings of my crazy, wonderful family! Get ready people!”
Jenner has been involved in reality TV since 2005, when he created, produced and starred in the short-lived Princes of Malibu. The former boyfriend of Lauren Conrad, he was also a mainstay on MTV’s The Hills. Most recently, Jenner produced and hosted Bromance, a reality show that offered contestants the chance to become part of Jenner’s entourage.
Jenner has been linked to some high-profile stars, including Lindsay Lohan and Nichole Richie. He also dated Avril Lavigne from 2010 to 2012. Now that his step-sisters are mostly settled down, Jenner’s love life will almost certainly be a big plot line on Keeping Up with the Kardashians! One new element that Brody hopefully won’t bring to the show is his old buddy Spencer Pratt. Can you imagine a Spedi/Kardashian/Jenner dinner?
I think this news calls for celebrating with a classic Jenner/Kardashian family photo…
Look for the season premier on E! this July.
