PHOTOS VIDEOS Mina Starsiak of HGTV’s Good Bones had a wedding for the ages
So we’re way behind with this particular Good Bones update, but, given that the show is currently prepping its long-awaited second season, now is as good a time as any to point out that Mina Starsiak is now Mina Starsiak-Hawk. The HGTV star got married to husband Stephen Hawk last summer, in a crazy-gorgeous ceremony that we’re hoping an upcoming Good Bones episode offers at least a peek at.

Before we dive headfirst into the *ton* of Good Bones Mina Starsiak wedding photos to emerge since the ceremony, here’s the story of the happy couple’s proposal, courtesy of their page at The Knot:
Steve’s proposal was quite elaborate. It started as a ruse during the filming of the HGTV show my mom and I are making. In the middle of an on camera interview, my lovely little sister interrupted with a bouquet of my favorite flowers, hydrangeas, and a very lengthy and ryhmey note. My immediate reaction was to scream, “SCAVENGER HUNT”, and we were off to the races. I didn’t realize until maybe clue #4 out of 8 that we were visiting all the places that Steve and I loved; out first meeting spot, first date spot, favorite eateries and so on. I was suuuuper slow on the pick up.
Trying to keep a long, awesome story short, the last clue was the only one I came even close to getting without help. It read:
“A backwards KRAP can be awesome; particularly since it’s the biggest in town. But don’t go to that booth, but East across the way and do it with a smile, not a frown. Look for a familiar logo and drive down the street to the arm; the officer is nice, just follow his advice and he will cause you no harm.”
Backwards krap, a park; the biggest in Indy is Eagle Creek Park. Across the street is the guard booth to THE COLTS COMPLEX!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!
Steve was waiting on the 50 yard line of the Colts training field with the most bad ass diamond I have ever seen. He said awesome lovely stuff that was all a blur to both of us, I said yes, and the rest is history…
