Former Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham must still have a few connections with her old employer as she was able to score two tickets to the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards — one for herself and one for her daughter Sophia! Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that they were able to score a third ticket from their brand new Zuchon puppy named Cupcake, who made the flight to New York City after being adopted on Friday.
For their red carpet looks, Farrah when with a colorful striped jumpsuit while Sophia wore a satiny blue look with a floral waist cape. Here are some more photos of the mother/daughter duo:
Just before their red carpet appearance, Farrah shared her excitement on Twitter. “@vmas day!” she tweeted. “Can’t wait for @SophiaLAbraham to tell me her favorite performance tonight! Minus the seating drama.”
Sophia’s Instagram account shared a photo of her and mom from the red carpet and captioned it with: “I HAVE THE BEST MOM IN THE WORLD #VMAs I love dance & music. Can’t wait to see my favs!!” The caption reveals that Sophia’s look is by Disla Couture.
As far as the new addition to the Abraham family, Farrah revealed on Friday that she and Sophia had adopted a brand new puppy from Palm Desert Puppies in California. The puppy is named Cupcake and is a Zuchon, which Wikipedia describes as a “cross between Bichon Frisé and Shih Tzu.” The entry goes on to say that “the Zuchon is a small designer dog with a height around 12 inches and weighing 12 to 14 pounds.”
Cupcake was instantly thrust into the glamorous life of the jet setting Abrahams as he/she was on a jet plane headed to New York City within 48 hours of being adopted! Check out Cupcake and Sophia enjoying their flight together:
After arriving in New York City, Cupcake joined Farrah and Sophia for some boxing lessons at The Dogpound as Farrah continues to train for her celebrity boxing match against Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander on November 10 in Atlantic City.
From there, it was on to enjoy some pre-VMAs festivities, that included chowing down on some of the dog’s namesakes:
As you might have guessed, Cupcake already has an Instagram account and looks to have taken over the role of Abraham family mascot from Blue — their Pomeranian who passed away last month.
