PHOTO Teen Mom’s Ryan Edwards involved in head-on car crash

Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards was involved in a bloody head-on collision in Chattanooga Friday night. Maci Bookout’s ex, and Bentley’s dad, was driving his red Camaro when he smashed into another woman’s vehicle.

According to TMZ, who have two grisly photos from the scene of the accident, Ryan was bloodied but avoided major injury. He refused to be taken to the hospital and was allowed to call a friend to pick him up from the scene. The other driver was reportedly taken via ambulance to the hospital. There is no further information on her status.

Multiple sources tell TMZ that they witnessed Ryan’s car s”swerve across double yellow lines — while apparently speeding — and smash into another woman’s vehicle.”

So far there has been no update from Ryan or his family via social media.

UPDATE – Maci Bookout has tweeted about the accident and suggests that the initial reports may not be accurate:

Ryan was involved in a car accident yesterday, the articles "reporting the story" have many errors in their facts. Thankfully Ryan is okay!
