Australian born singer, model and actress Sophie Monk transformed herself from exotic blond bikini bombshell to your best friend’s mom in this photo taken Tuesday at Urth Cafe in West Hollywood. The Maxim cover girl was some sort of middle class version of Charlize Theron in Monster with sweaty armpits, a cigarette and some serious old maid posture. Dare I use Sophie Monk and the word “frumpy” in the same sentence? I dare!
And what’s up with those striped shorts?!? They look like someone lifted them up wedgie-style from the crotch and tucked them in the waistband! Oh, and did I even mention the “Durrrrrrrrrrrr!” facial expression? Ommm nom not!
Now before people start getting angry, this isn’t one of those “celebrities without makeup” posts that places irrationally high expectations on women and their appearance – this is an issue of bad aesthetic (and health) decisions.
All of that being said, if I ran into this woman at a bar, I’d be pitchin’ my best woo for sure! (Unsuccessfully I might add.) My best friend’s mom was one of the best things goin’ in my town! 😉
