It seems like the new mantra for pop stars is to put your mouth where your ink is. Miley Cyrus is no different as she recently tweeted a middle finger equal sign tattoo that shows her support for gay marriage rights. Now when Miley flicks you off she can also enlighten you as to the need for civil understanding in America!
She’s long been a supporter of this issue and this very topic was one of the main reasons that she previously removed herself from Twitter. Here was the tweet that accompanied the photo above:
Some of her followers of course questioned her stance. Miley responded by telling one fan who question her beliefs and her support of gays that, “Where does it say in the bible to judge others? GOD is the only judge honey. GOD is love.” Many more followers piled on with some harsh comments about the person who questioned Miley’s beliefs and the young singer had to play Twitter peace maker:
“Dude everyone lay off (questioning follower) Love u! Everyone is entitled 2 opinions! If u don’t stand 4 something you’ll fall for anything.”
Hate mail in regards to gay equality rights was one of the primary reasons she deleted her account before. Perhaps this older version of Cyrus is more confidant in her opinions.
