90 DAY FIANCÉ Patrick Mendes files for summary disposition in divorce EXCLUSIVE
It appears the marriage between 90 Day Fiancé stars Patrick Mendes and Thais Mendes will soon be officially over.
Starcasm can exclusively reveal that Patrick filed a Request for Summary Disposition for a Decree of Divorce without a Hearing in Nevada District Court earlier today. As implied by the filing, Patrick is asking the judge to grant the final divorce decree without requiring a live court hearing.
Normally, the Summary Disposition request is accompanied by the proposed divorce agreement, but court dockets do not show a proposed divorce agreement being filed. However, Patrick’s declaration in support of the request does reference a Stipulated Decree of Divorce and Custody.
From the filing:
I, PATRICK MENDES (“Declarant”), do hereby swear (or declare) under penalty of perjury that the following assertions of this Declaration are true…
6. That the Child Custody and Child Support provisions set forth in the Stipulated Decree of Divorce and Custody are in the Child’s best interests.
7. That the division of Assets and Debts set forth in the Stipulated Decree of Divorce and Custody equitably divides all the Parties’ Assets and Debts.
8. That the waiver of alimony in the Stipulated Decree of Divorce and Custody is fair and equitable.
The excerpt above appears to reveal that Patrick and Thais have agreed there will be no alimony.
As Starcasm previously reported, Patrick and Thais mutually agreed to participate in Family Mediation Center services in hopes of reaching an agreement. There was a hearing scheduled for tomorrow, so it is likely we will have a ruling from the judge within the next 24 hours.
