Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Desmond Bryant was arrested in Miami over the weekend on a misdemeanor charge for criminal mischief, and while he likely won’t do much jail time (if any), he’s certainly getting punished with the publication of this mug shot!
In the booking photo, not only is Desmond topless, he also appears to be on the verge of vomiting. And what the heck is going on with his neck? Is something stuck in there? It almost looks as if he swallowed a football! But perhaps we shouldn’t laugh too hard — this guy is 6’6” and weighs 311 pounds!
According to reports, Desmond went into a neighbor’s home early on Sunday morning where he caused a “commotion.” When police caught up with him, they found him to be “extremely intoxicated” with red, blood-shot eyes, slurred speech, and a “strong smell of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath.”
In case you’re wondering what “criminal mischief” means, here’s the definition as per Florida law:
The offense of criminal mischief is committed when you willfully and maliciously damage any property belonging to someone else. It can be willful or negligent, mischievous or vengeful behavior that results in someone’s property being damaged or destroyed, at some quantifiable cost.
After four seasons with the Raiders, Desmond is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on March 12. Any takers?
