Kylie and Tyga discuss their tumultuous relationship in brand-new interview
Kylie Jenner and Tyga engaged in an impromptu Q&A via Kylie’s massively popular app this weekend, and shocked onlookers and fans alike with what many are calling frank honesty. In the interview, Kylie and Tyga discuss the strengths and weaknesses they see in each other, along with the various methods they use to work through the rough spots–and, of greatest importance to the couple’s many well-wishers, how long they intend to keep this thing going.
First and foremost, Kylie and Tyga want us all to know that they’re both lovers, and not fighters. “We disagree sometimes, but we don’t really fight,” said 25-year-old Tyga. And Kylie, 18, added “If we get mad at each other, we just start laughing. I dunno.”
The pair also confirmed long-standing reports that they try at all times to focus on “fun things in life.”
But how do the pair keep level heads in the sea of onlookers that is their daily lives? How do they keep close with so many millions of eyes upon them? It’s easy, says Tyga: the key is to just ignore all of the haters and their hateful vibes.
“Nine times out ten,” the rapper began, “most of the stuff people feed into the world about you is negative and false anyway.
“As long as you know yourself,” Tyga continued, “and you got good people around you and you passionate about what you do, that’s all that matters–because, at the end of the day, you go to sleep with the people you love, you wake up with the people you love, and you spend your time with the people you love.”
Tyga went on: “You can’t live for other people, you know? You gotta live for yourself and better the people around you and make an impact.”
Tyga also addressed long-standing rumors of his poor health, claiming that his addiction to junk food has been wildly overstated in the media, and that he tries to take everything in moderation.
“That’s good, man,” he said. “You gotta live, man, it’s not that bad for you.…You need junk food, you need stuff like that in your system.”
“We eat a lot,” Kylie added. “I’ve gained like 15 pounds.”
Kylie stayed silent, for the most part, though she did nod at many points–including several vigorous nods. She often scrolled through the stream of questions coming in on her cellular telephone, pausing to point them out to Tyga.
Kylie and Tyga discussing their relationship in public was a big step for the couple, who spent most of the past week fighting before Tyga made everything better, bringing Kylie onstage at one of his shows so he could sing “Stimulated” to her and kiss her in front of adoring fans.
