Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons have been a rumored to be a couple ever since Kendall ditched NBA All-Star, former flame, and current subject of a nine-figure alimony lawsuit Blake Griffin. Kendall and Ben appeared to be in the early stages of celebrity coupledom (read: making out in public) earlier this month, and have been spotted out and about together since then.
It looks like the two decided to get a bit more serious since then, as TMZ is now reporting that Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons, who just won the NBA’s Rookie of the Year award, will be living together in a swanky Los Angeles rental house for the summer. Per their report, “the two have been holing up” in the “ultra modern crib” for an indefinite period; the lease is “for several months,” and the rent is $25,000 per month — or, in tabloid terms, almost three full Tygas.
(If you’re wondering why Kendall is renting a house in the greater LA area when she just bought one, it seems that she’s still “putting some of her own touches on” that house, and it’s not quite move-in ready just yet.)
TMZ’s report adds that the house has five bedrooms and six bathrooms and a pool, and “is centrally located near the Grove and trendy Fairfax area, which explains why [Kendall and Ben] have been spotted around town so much.”
And, because well-known real estate aggregator Zillow doesn’t update its own listings as quickly as the agencies from which it gets its information, we were able to figure out that Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons are renting the house at 6130 W 5th Street in Los Angeles. It is indeed a great address: the house is a mere half-mile from aforementioned Grove.
6130 W 5th Street is also just one-and-a-half miles from the very hot Fairfax District. Fairfax is of course best-known for being where the original members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers — Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Jack Irons, and Hillel Slovak — went to high school. The band would later immortalize the school and their youthful antics in their 1995 song “Deep Kick”:
