Despite Tyga’s protestations, Kanye West definitely thinks there’s something going on between his rapper friend and sister-in-law Kylie Jenner. And while some of us may view that thing as “statutory rape,” Kanye thinks it’s just Tyga being smart.
Speaking to Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club yesterday, Kanye actually answered when the DJs asked his opinion on 17-year-old Kylie and 25-year-old Tyga’s relationship. (Yes, the top image could fall under our “Crimes of Photoshop” category.)
“I think that uh, I think [Tyga] got in early. I think he was smart,” Kanye said.
When the hosts note the age difference isn’t really that significant, Kanye agreed. He added, “They closer in age than a lot of relationships that I know. I knew Tyga was smart.”
After all of that, Charlamagne Tha God pointed out that Tyga denied a romance earlier this week — leading Kanye to backtrack just a bit by saying he “can’t speak on another man’s relationship.” Except for, you know, when he does.
It seems Kanye was feeling an extra bit salty about the problems of dating older women because of the Kardashians current entanglement with his ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose. He also semi-joked that Kim Kardashian initially didn’t want to get with him because he dated Amber.
“I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim,” he said. “If Kim had wanted to date me when I first wanted to be with her, there wouldn’t be an Amber Rose. You know what I’m saying.”
