Beliebers completely lost their s**t when the “Baby” singer revealed via Instagram on Saturday that he got a tattoo on his face!
The Biebs, a tattoo aficionado in his own right, isn’t sorry about the decision to get a tiny cross just to the side of his eye. He had the ink done at the West 4th Tattoo Parlor in NYC on Friday and Jonboy, the artist responsible for the facial, is speaking out about the purpose behind the new marking.
“Justin came in last night and decided on a small cross near the corner of his eye. It represents his journey in finding purpose with God,” he told Us Weekly.
Bieber and his good friend Joe Termini got the matching tattoos just before the 22-year-old pop superstar made an impromptu performance at Manhattan’s popular hang, The Up & Down.
For good measure, Justin posted another pic of his face just to remind us all how beautiful it is.
Before this most recent one, Bieber’s tattoo count was already well above 50. He told GQ earlier this year that he’d consider a face tattoo when he got, “really old, not super old, but maybe, like, forties or fifties or something… I think if they’re done right, they could be cool, but nothing supercrazy all over the face.”
Well, Justin went in a little ahead of schedule but he certainly didn’t go supercrazy.
