Baby-faced pop singer Selena Gomez proved a couple of things in this Funny or Die Fifty Shades of Grey spoof: That she’s a grown woman, and she has a sense of humor.
The story features Selena playing an erotic novel reader who lets her imagination run away with her with her painter Carl Blue (Nick Kroll,) who’s both oblivious to her charms and totally not sexy.
The video comes out as rumors swirl that the 19-year-old has recently split from long-time boyfriend Justin Bieber. Last week Justin briefly posted this cryptic tweet:
His reps denied that he made the tweet, but did not deny a break-up.
Selena Gomez was not by his side at the Billboard Awards Sunday, and he did not thank her in his speech. Say it isn’t so!!!!! A lot of Beliebers are gonna be happy if they really did break up.
Don’t worry about Selena either, this year she landed number 24 on the Maxim Hot 100. No one’s kickin’ her out of bed for eating cookies.
