Justin Bieber sets Make-A-Wish record by granting 200 wishes to sick kids
Justin Bieber may be up to crazy antics lately, but he’s doing some good in this world too. This weekend he set the record for the most wishes granted by a recording artist for the Make-a-Wish Foundation when he made a sick little girl’s dream come true by talking with her, and even asking her to marry him!
8-year-old Annalysha Brown-Rafanan has life-threatening medical issues, and 19-year-old Bieber answered a number of her questions, including if he likes when people put make up on (no) and what his favorite sandwich is (turkey). She then took out a ring pop to propose to the pop star, and he flipped the script by proposing to her.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation tweeted congratulations to the star: “Congratulate @JustinBieber on his 200th wish! Giving just $5 helps us grant even more wishes.”
Justin responded:”This is what it is about. Thanks.”
Justin Bieber has made this record in less than four years! He granted his first wish in 2009. Bieber has always been very generous with his time and affection towards young ill fans. On Valentine’s Day 2012 he spent time with a fan sick with brain cancer who later passed away. He nicknamed her #MrsBieber on Twitter. During their visit she got to style his hair, they gave each tattoos, and played Candyland.
