Joy-Anna Duggar pregnancy update: Has she given birth yet?
We’re now four days past the expected arrival of the latest Duggar addition, and the most recent Joy-Anna Duggar pregnancy update sees both the family and its fans on edge. With Counting On set to premiere its new season tonight, though, we’re betting that a little brand management means a formal birth announcement is coming later today.
Gossip regarding Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth’s first child picked up significantly two weeks ago, when Joy revealed her exact due date in a seemingly innocuous Instagram hashtag:
Revealed on February 13th that she was nine days from her due date:
Since then, there’s been plenty of talk about whether the baby had been born a few days prematurely, along with even more hot gossip about whether Joy and Austin had pre-marital sex. (For the record: they got married on May 25th and announced Joy’s pregnancy on August 30th.)
Additionally, a pseudo Joy-Anna Duggar pregnancy update came a few days after the reveal above, when the Duggar family’s Wikipedia page was edited to include the alleged birth of Joy and Austin’s little girl, Julie. That detail was quickly deleted, and the family has yet to announce anything one way or the other.
So, if Joy-Anna has yet to give birth, she’s now four days past her official due date — hardly cause for concern, but an excellent coincidence when you’re trying to drive up ratings for your family’s beleaguered TV show. And the Duggars are hardly Kardashian-level marketers.
Still, given the unusual confluence of events, we wouldn’t be surprised if later today the family put out an official announcement or social media update congratulating Joy and Austin on the birth of their first child.
Counting On‘s season premiere airs at 9 PM on TLC.
