Jordan Ward Finder’s baby stops breathing, taken to the hospital

JOrdan Ward Finder just after giving birth to son Noah

On Sunday we shared the good news that 16 and Pregnant Season 3 star Jordan Ward Finder had given birth to her second child, daughter Arri Monroe Finder. Earlier this afternoon Arri stopped breathing and had to be taken back to the hospital where she is currently being cared for in the neonatal intensive care unit.

UPDATE – Jordan shared on Twitter earlier today (November 10) that Arri is fine and may have sleep apnea. Here’s her tweet:

Thanks everyone for the prayers.arri is doing great! They think she might have sleep apnea that caused her to turn blue and forgot to breathe

UPDATE 2 – More tweets from Jordan that seem to indicate it wasn’t sleep apnea after all:

Might be going home tomorrow. Now they don’t think it’s sleep apnea. Since she has been doing great While sleep. They really don’t know why

She turned blue. But all test results have came back perfect.

@lisaroo1988 asked if they checked Arri’s heart because she has “a friend who’s daughter did the same thing, and it turned out it was something to do with her heart makin her go blue.” To which Jordan replied:

@lisaroo1988 yea they did. And it looked perfect

Friends and fans of Jordan were first made aware something was wrong when her twin sister Jess shared this concerned message on Twitter about three hours ago:

Please pray for Arri):

A couple hours passed before Jess provided another update with a little more information:

They transported arri to the nicu, please just pray for her)’:

Soon after that Jordan herself took to Twitter to update everyone on Arri’s status:

Please pray for arri. Earlier today she stopped breathing and turned blue twice. We are back in the hospital.

If you recall from our profile post about Jordan, she also had some medical issues with her son Noah:

In addition to having GERD and needing an IV for the first couple days, little Noah also struggled with acid reflux, then a high fever at 2 months, and then an allergic reaction to the Amoxicillin prescribed for the fever that resulted in his face and body swelling.

Let’s hope Arri recovers as well as Noah did and is back home with her family soon!
