After killing last night in a performance of “Little Girls” from Annie at the Tony Awards, Jane Lynch (52) announced that she’s divorcing her wife Dr. Lara Embry (44.)
“Lara and I have decided to end our marriage. This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter,” she said in a statement.
The couple met in 2009 fundraiser, and married on Memorial Day 2010 in Massachusetts. Dr. Embry has a daughter, Haden, who Jane gushed about last March. “My greatest pleasure is Haden, my stepdaughter,” she told People. “I am surprised how much love you feel and how you would do anything for your children.”
