James Deen, star of Farrah Abraham ‘Backdoor’ video, has company cited for failure to use condoms
California regulators have cited a company owned by adult film star James Deen for failing to use condoms on a film shoot.
Page 6 reports that nine citations were issued by Cal/OSHA, including four that presented a possibility of harm or death. They have proposed fining the company nearly $78,000.
The 30-year-old, who has achieved a level of fame usually only reserved for women in his industry, has been a major vocal opponent of condom use in adult films.
Deen’s name became known in pop culture circles after it was revealed he was the faux boyfriend featured in Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham’s infamous Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom video. For what it’s worth, he did not wear a condom during his work with Farrah.
OSHA began investigating Deen and his companies after he was publicly accused by a number of women in the industry of sexual assault. His home was raided in January, but the violations listed had no connection with these allegations.
