A&E’s Intervention returns with 6-part series premiering August 6
A&E’s Emmy Award-winning addiction docu-series Intervention is returning on August 6 for a special new season featuring six consecutive one-hour episodes focusing on a single area known as an epicenter of the opioid epidemic.
Interventionists Ken Seeley, Donna Chavous, Heather Hayes, Michael Gonzalez and Jim Reidy will be working with city officials and first responders in an attempt to help nine families with addicts residing in Philadelphia’s “Heroin Hub.”
Here is the dramatic preview trailer:
The preview trailer and the press release for the new season both tease that it will feature the show’s “most dramatic recovery yet,” which is a remarkable claim given that the series has featured over 300 episodes and specials since it debuted in 2005.
The Philadelphia-themed season of Intervention premieres on Tuesday, August 6 at 9/8c on A&E.
