French Montana says he’s capitalizing on his relationship with Khloe Kardashian
How romantic? When talking about his dynamic with Khloe Kardashian, French Montana said it’s a profitable business relationship.
“I want to capitalize on it,” he told Billboard. “I’ll get a fan base from everywhere. I just hope I’ll be able to connect with everything that’s going on.”
The rapper, who just released a music video featuring his girlfriend, added he’s tapping into one of Khloe’s big connections by working with Kanye West. He also seems keen on name-dropping.
“When you go to the club and every record they’re playing is yours, you try to go left, and I made that mistake,” he said. “Jay Z told me he once made that same mistake too.”
Even though some of his comments make it sound like French is more smitten with Khloe’s fame than anything else, he was quick to say she’s been a positive influence in his personal life: “She told me, ‘They will spread negative energy if they can. Don’t let it get to you.'”
For her part, Khloe seemed to employ that motto when reacting to the backlash to French’s “capitalizing” comments. She tweeted on Sunday, “It’s amusing to me that Y’all think I don’t see it. I was the first one to see it. I just don’t care.”
