Donald Trump has raised eyebrows once again. This time, it’s because of a strangely worded tweet the presidential candidate shared two years ago–and re-tweeted more recently–to ostensibly commemorate the 9/11 anniversary.

In the Donald Trump 9/11 tweet, the real estate mogul extended his “best wishes” to all on the “special date.” Trump made sure to include “even the haters and losers” in his wishes.

The 2013 Donald Trump 9/11 tweet was deleted shortly after its posting, though it’s not immediately clear when. Donald Trump has not, however, deleted a re-tweet of the original tweet. Here’s the controversial Donald Trump 9/11 tweet:

It’s perhaps worth pointing out that the Donald Trump 9/11 tweet was re-tweeted–as you can see above–just one day later, on September 12th. The tweet was also at the centerpiece of a CNN article from earlier this summer, entitled “Donald Trump thinks pretty much everyone is a loser.”

That belief came to light once more, earlier this week, after controversial comments Trump made about his military non-service were published by the New York Times. The Times report featured a bevy of quotes from Trump’s interview with writer Michael D’Antonio, who has a book about Trump coming out this November. Among other things, Trump told D’Antonio that “For the most part, you can’t respect people because most people aren’t worthy of respect.”
