VIDEOS Courtland Rogers jailhouse interview
Jenelle Evans’ husband Courtland Rogers is currently still behind bars after bond was set at $85,000 when he and Jenelle were arrested together on April 23. Jenelle has since bonded out (and actually returned for a brief time last week after missing a scheduled court appearance), but Courtland is still doing his time, and likely will remain behind bars at least until June. However, that doesn’t mean Courtland can’t have his voice heard! Did you know that the Brunswick County Jail offers internet visitation to friends and family? I didn’t either! But a fan named Kirsta Lynn did and she set up a chat with Courtland and recorded it and posted it on Youtube! (Technology is amazing, isn’t it?)
(Ed. note: At first we didn’t know who the young lady conducting the interview was, and when we found out, did know if she wanted her identity known. It has since been confirmed that she does. Her name is Krista and her Twitter ID is @KristaLynn311.)
The interview is broken up into 15 clips under a minute each, and it is by no means complete, but there’s still a lot of Courtlandia to take in! Here are all the interview videos arranged in the order assigned to them by the young lady who uploaded them with an extra clip at the end that was uploaded to a different account. Each video has a brief description below it detailing what is in the clip, including numerous quotes from Courtland.
1st video w/CR
Courtland laments the fact that Taylor Lewis (the mother of his daughter) is now hanging out with Jenelle and that Jenelle gets to spend time with his daughter Jordan. He warns that Taylor is just friends with Jenelle for the fame and “once Taylor gets all them naked pictures of [Jenelle] and everything that she has that she can sell, it’s over for her.”
Courtland later pleads for people to write him at this address (I assume you need to put his name at the top. He didn’t provide an inmate number or anything like that.)
PO Box 9
Bolivia, NC 28422
“I want letters!” Courtland proclaims.
cr3
Courtland talks about being in jail at the same time as Jenelle’s ex-fiance Gary Head, says Gary walked by him without saying anything. Courtland wishes he was out of jail so he could see what Gary was saying about when he saw Courtland in jail.
cr5
Courtland is shown photos of his daughter Jordan, including one of Taylor, Jordan and Jenelle together. “Man that sh!t breaks my f***ing heart,” Courtland says. “You know how good I was to Jenelle? Man I loved every piece of her body. I loved every piece of Jenelle’s body and for her to do this sh!t to me breaks my heart.”
cr6
Courtland continues to suggest that Taylor is going to sell Jenelle out and that he feels bad for Jenelle because he still loves her. “I miss our little talks so bad,” he says.
cr7
“The whole world is about to watch an innocent man go to prison, I swear to god,” Courtland says. He then claims Jenelle has already been indicted on the felony heroin charges, though Jenelle’s attorney says it hasn’t happened yet. (He expects it will happen soon, however.) “I’ve never been to jail and said I was innocent in my life!” Courtland proclaims.
cr8
Courtland continues to plead for mail. “It’s like gold in here!” he says. Courtland says Taylor told him she and Jenelle were about to film together for some kind of show.
cr11
Courtland says he’s making the best of it in jail and that he’s not sad but content. “Hell no! I’m not a sad type of guy. That’s why [Jenelle] fell in love with me so fast! Because I’m such an outgoing person.” He then talks about how Jenelle was engaged to Kieffer and Gary for long periods of time without ever actually marrying them, but she married him after 13 days.
cr11 plus a little more
Same as the clip above but extended a bit. (Uploaded to a different Youtube account)
cr12
Courtland expresses his appreciation to the girl who made the video, even though he says he doesn’t know her. “I’ll take a visit any day of the week from you!” he says.
cr14
Courtland says he’s open to doing video chats with anyone who wants to and he shows off his arm tattoo. (I think it reads “No Woman No Problem” or something like that.)
cr16
Courtland requests people send him Machine Gun Kelly lyrics.
cr18
Asks for video visits again, says he could get them 20 times a day.
cr19
“They need to be careful doing what they’re doing,” Courtland says. “Just because I’m in jail doesn’t mean nothing. Brunswick County has a strong way with getting words to me.”
visit w/CR (end)
“Jenelle you been a bad girl and you know it!”
CR
“I sang Ja-Ja [daughter Jordan] the mockingbird song from Eminem,” Courtland says before being asked if the time of the interview was OK, o which he responds with “Any time!” and says with as many fans as he has he should be getting a visit every day.
Another fan involved in this interview goes by @oamyamyo on Twitter. She tweeted this inside info she got from their conversations with Courtland: “Okay you guys. You know that huge fight that got them arrested? Here’s what started it-”
CR said that the fight on the day of the arrest with JE started because he went and got her cigarettes and she got PISSED because he got Camel Menthols instead of Newports! He threw them down and she kicked them back- Brody, being a dog, thought they were playing, and JUMPED UP ON JENELLE AND HIS CLAW RIPPED HER PLUG FROM HER EAR. Not CR.
Hahaha don’t mess with the girls cigs y’all!!
UPDATE – Jenelle responded to the above description of “what started it” by tweeting, “LMFAO OVER CIGS? No no no no! And Brody doesn’t jump on people. If u knew the truth u would be like that sounds more like it.”
