During tonight’s episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, scandals surrounding Mary Cosby’s church were again brought into the spotlight. For several episodes, Meredith Marks has found herself on the receiving end of cryptic messages about Mary’s church, Faith Temple Pentecostal. Does Mary think she’s a god? Are church members giving her too much money?
Most of Jen Shah’s Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast was shocked when she was arrested by the feds for fraud. Meredith Marks, however, was completely unfazed. She even hinted to Mary Cosy that someone might have tipped off the FBI about Jen. At the beginning of tonight’s episode, Meredith revealed that she hired a private investigator.
When Meredith Marks got the call that Jen Shah had been arrested on fraud charges, she was not shocked at all. She was waiting for the rest of the cast at a luxurious rental chateau in Vail, Colorado where she prompted drew a bubble bath, and sipped on champagne. By the time Mary Cosby arrived at the house, Meredith was waiting for her in the bath, ready to discuss, with unhidden glee, the downfall of Jen Shah.
Trouble brewed early between Jen Shah and Meredith Marks’ then 20-year-old son Brooks in Season 1 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after Brooks said he flashed him and his sister Chloe while doing high kicks. She allegedly wasn’t wearing underwear. The young people felt uncomfortable, and immediately went to Best Buy to avoid Jen’s company in their house. Since then, Jen had been out for Brooks on social media. Jen has apologized for her behavior, but also shirked responsibility for it onto her “team.”
