BREAKING AMISH Sabrina Burkholder gives birth to son Zekiah

Breaking Amish Return To Amish Sabrina Burkholder gives birth to baby boy Zekiah on March 6 2019

After receiving some concerning news from her doctors just before her due date, Breaking Amish and Return To Amish star Sabrina Burkholder gave birth to a healthy baby boy this week!

Zekiah Brysen Nolt was born at 9:24PM on Wednesday, March 6, and he weighed in at six pounds, three ounces. As far as the “concerning news” from her doctors, Sabrina explained on Facebook: “Due to medical issues I was having while I was pregnant they had told me some things that they were worried would be wrong with him.” But, little Zekiah got a “clean bill of health” and was able to go home with his mom on Friday!

Sabrina expressed her gratitude for her son’s health (and for getting another chance) on Facebook:

I feel now like it was a test of my faith but in the moment it really scared me. I’m so glad and thankful that he is healthy and okay. I’m just really overwhelmed and grateful that God gave me another chance. A year ago I was in jail for the 3rd time and had lost all hope of ever being the person I wanted to be. Something changed during that time tho and I feel like it catapulted me to where I am today. I am just in awe of God and all He has done for me. I will never ever regret turning my back on my old life and allowing God to work in my life. It hasn’t been easy but my son has made it all worth it. Every tear I’ve cried has led to this and I couldn’t wait for the day where I would stop crying lol and now I cry happy tears every day instead❤❤❤ It’s all God❤❤ I could have never accomplished any of this on my own❤❤❤ Thank you to everyone who never stopped believing in me and praying. And I’m so thankful for Jethro because without him I wouldn’t have what I have now❤ I asked God for a man who would love me forever and He gave me a son❤❤❤❤❤

Despite all of Sabrina’s legal troubles over the past few years, she confirms that she is currently at no risk of losing Zekiah. “I have full legal and physical custody,” she revealed. “No open cases either.”

Sabrina was asked how her other two daughters, 4-year-old Oakley and 2-year-old Arianna, are doing “They are adopted, they live with family,” Sabrina says. “But I can’t say anything else about them. I promised their mother that I would leave them out of the spotlight…They are doing great tho❤❤”

Getting back to Zekiah, Sabrina shared a little info about the name choice:

Zekiah: shortened version of Hezekiah, a righteous king in the Bible. It means “God is my strength.” I picked this.

Brysen: means enthusiastic and passionate. Daddy picked this.

If you’re curious who “daddy” is, that would be Jethro Nolt. Jethro is another recovering addict who has been with Sabrina for quite a while now.

Sabrina has had an incredibly difficult few years since she first appeared on Breaking Amish, and we have been sharing updates through it all. Her story has been heart breaking to watch, and illustrates just what a terrifyingly destructive force addiction can be. Sabrina and Zekiah are in our thoughts, and we continue to wish them the best.
