Brandi Glanville donated money to support woman LeAnn Rimes is suing

LeAnn Rimes crying Brandi Glanville rolling her eyes

One of the longest running public feuds in recent Hollyweird history rages on as Brandi Glanville has revealed that she donated money to the defense fund of the woman who LeAnn Rimes is suing for invasion of privacy.

Brandi told Radar that she went there because she was “stalked, harassed and bullied” by the singer’s entourage for years. Here’s Brandi breaking it down:

“I don’t know the woman from Adam, but I was stalked, harassed and bullied for two years by LeAnn’s producer, Darrell Brown, her tour manager and hairdresser. I never once called them on the phone or filed a lawsuit against them. If LeAnn wants to heal from this she needs to let it go and walk away like I did.”

Brandi threw in LeAnn’s hairdresser!

The woman in question is teacher and mother-of-6, Kim Smiley, who LeAnn accuses of being an online bully. Smiley made headlines when she taped a conversation between herself and LeAnn that subsequently got “leaked” online. LeAnn had contacted Smiley to confront her about her alleged bullying and Smiley recorded the conversation. The lawsuit centers around this recording which LeAnn’s team claims was without her knowledge or consent.

A rep for LeAnn provided a stinging response to this latest escalation between the two women:

“On the day that LeAnn’s critically acclaimed album ‘Spitfire’ is released, we admire the fact that Brandi stands by her convictions and is willing to publicly donate her hard-earned money to the Smileys’ six or more months after their initial ask. Contrary to Brandi’s reasoning for her compassion and donation, the civil case has nothing to do with bullying, harassment nor voicing one’s opinion.

The fact is, in California it is illegal to record a conversation without permission and then proceed to distribute the material. In terms of the criminal case that has and will always be the decision of law enforcement and is completely out of our control or influence.”

And you know that LeAnn had to personally engage the situation as well as she stated that she “does not condone bullying in any form.”

It’s still a big ol’ mess between Brandi and LeAnn and their motivations have to be called into question when this publicity couldn’t hurt Glanville’s standing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or LeAnn and Eddie Cibrian’s planned upcoming show.
