Having trouble with your 1 and 3-year-old obeying authority? That’s what 911 is for! Oh no wait, it’s not for that at all. That’s a lesson Melissa Townsend of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida found out the hard way on Tuesday when she was arrested after calling 911 and telling the operator, “I need a police officer to scare the sh*t out of my kids.” Of course it didn’t help that she was drunk when police arrived and she kicked an officer in the groin multiple times.

Here’s a video report from WKMG in Orlando with an audio of the 911 call followed by a transcript of the conversation:

Melissa: I need a police officer to scare the sh*t out of my kids.

Dispatcher: Excuse me?

Melissa: They’re not listening to me and they need to learn respect and they need to learn that people in law enforcement and otherwise are to have authority. They need to learn that lesson.

Dispatcher: We don’t come out and scare kids.

But, they do come out and arrest drunk moms who call 911 to ask police to scare their kids!
