Kendall Jenner feuding with Kylie doesn’t happen very often–and, when it does, it’s often no big deal: the two are sisters, after all. The latest feud between the young KJs might fun a bit deeper, though, as it concerns the love of 18-year-old Kylie’s life. According to Kendall, having Tyga around “ruins the sister vibe,” and she’s not afraid to let Kylie know it.
Reports of Kendall Jenner feuding with Kylie first surfaced in E!’s preview for the upcoming eleventh season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. One prominent scene in the clip takes place during the family’s recent vacation to St. Bart’s. Kim’s the one who breaks the news: “Kylie invited Tyga,” she tells the happy family, as they sit around the dinner table.
Kendall is not pleased, to say the least. Here’s the clip:
“Listen,” says Khloe, responding to Kendall’s stone face, “I get it. I would rather be with a man, too.”
Kendall appears to keep it together during dinner, but another scene shows the pair having a more frank conversation. “I was really looking forward to this trip to hang out with you,” a frustrated Kendall says. Of course, it looks like this conversation takes place after Tyga reveals his infamous “Kylie” arm tattoo…which means that Kendall can’t help but feel like her little sister is slipping away from her.
It’s also worth pointing out that the St. Bart’s vacation footage was shot all the way back in August. Have things gotten worse in the meantime? According to family insiders, they’re not necessarily better: “Kendall misses having quality time with Kylie and had hoped they would get to have some one-on-one time….It’s not the same when it’s just the sisters. He ruins the sister vibe.
“Kendall was also bummed out that [Tyga coming on the vacation] was a surprise,” the insider continued. “Kylie never ever even asked if everyone was ok with her inviting Tyga. It was inconsiderate. Kylie and Tyga are already together 24/7, so why did she need to bring him on a family vacation?”
Tyga, meanwhile, looked alone, confused–and saddened by the news:
