Lindsay Lohan to guest host Chelsea Lately, is actually committed to sobriety

These days, Lindsay Lohan is better known for her partying ways than her acting skills… But sources say her latest court-ordered rehab stay has truly shown the former child star the err of her ways.

“It’s like invasion of the body snatchers,” a source told TMZ. “She’s a different person.”

Case in point? Lindsay is reportedly opting to stay in a lower-level, sober-living house for a few days after her official rehab order ends. The source tells TMZ that Lindsay believes this will help her transition back into a temptation-filled world.

After that, Lindsay still plans to move nearer her family in New York. Although she’ll be back in the company of old friends, Lindsay supposedly made a keep/cut list of toxic companions. That way, she can categorically banish certain bad influences for her life.

Unfortunately, it isn’t quite that simple when it comes to family. As we recently reported, Cliffside Rehab banned momma Dina Lohan from calling her daughter after she drunkenly attempted to wish Lindsay a happy birthday. Dina is also one of Lindsay’s most committed clubbing buddies — and many speculate that Dina has her own substance abuse issues to address.

Lindsay’s sobriety will get put to the test shortly after her release from rehab: Producers of Chelsea Lately announced yesterday that Lindsay will take over the table for a guest hosting gig on August 5.

“Get ready to see Lohan interacting with Chuy, running the roundtable, and interviewing a celebrity guest,” E! announced.

Lindsay is also scheduled to sit down with Oprah for an interview on August 18. She will then film a short docu-series for Oprah’s network, OWN.

Do you think Lindsay is really committed to recovery?
