REPORT Lindsay Lohan turns down $550k deal with Dancing With The Stars

Lindsay Lohan turns down Dancing With the Stars

Lindsay Lohan may be having money troubles, but she doesn’t seem to be in any hurry to make good on the $233k debt she currently owes to the IRS. The former child star turned troubled adult star has reportedly turned down over a half million dollars to appear on the upcoming season of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, and it’s all because she doesn’t want to be a reality star.

Sources for TMZ are reporting that Lindsay was in talks with producers to put her dancing skills to the test on the show’s sixteenth season, which is set to begin production this March in Los Angeles. The sources claim that Lindsay was made several offers which maxed out at a whopping $550k, but she wasn’t interested.

See, Lindsay feels that if she does a reality show, she’ll no longer be looked at as a movie star, and she doesn’t want to take that risk. However, after the drama that transpired on the set of The Canyons, she’s not exactly Hollywood’s most sought after actress. Plus, with her massive tax debt, she should probably take any opportunity she can! Besides, it’s Dancing With The Stars — not Jersey Shore  — more of a competition than a reality show. (DWTS hasn’t devovled into being about who slept with who and behind-the-scenes wig-pulling catfights. Yet.)

Oh, and let’s not forget that Lindsay Lohan’s life basically is a reality show already, it just doesn’t have a particular network (except maybe WTMZ) or a particular air time!

A rep for Dancing With The Stars told TMZ, “We don’t comment on casting.”
