Octomom Nadya Suleman checks into rehab

Nadya Suleman has checked herself into a rehabilitation facility to help deal with her reported addiction to the prescription drug Xanax, an anti-anxiety medication. According to her rep, Suleman entered the Chapman House Drug Rehabilitation Center in Southern California this weekend for a 30-day program, leaving a team of nannies and friends to watch over her 14 children.

“Nadya wanted to get off the Xanax she was prescribed by her doctor and learn to deal with her stress, exhaustion and anxiety with professional help with a team of doctors,” her rep told TMZ. “Nadya wanted to deal with her issues and make sure she is the best mother she can be.”

The site reports Nadya’s children will be taken care of by a team of three nannies and two friends with the help of a driver to get the kids to and from school.

Octomom’s financial struggles have been well-documented with Nadya turning to Dial A Star and softcore pornography to help pay the bills, but it appears her stay in rehab won’t be adding to her list of expenses because the facility is picking up the tab. The rehab stay comes less than a week after the 37-year-old Suleman gave a video tour of her new 5,000-square-foot home in Palmdale, California.
