Jenelle Evans and Courtland Rogers are finally divorced

Jenelle Evans - Courtland Rogers Divorced

We’ve been talking about Jenelle Evans and Courtland Rogers’ marriage in the past tense for a loooong time now. But, as far as the state was concerned, they were still husband and wife until today when their divorce was finally granted.

Teen Mom Truth exclusively shared pictures of Jenelle proudly showing off her “Judgment of Absolute Divorce” papers. The Teen Mom 2 star and imminently expectant mother also explained the judge denied Courtland’s request for money or rights to any of Jenelle’s assets.

Courtland previously made it look like he was going be really obstinate by tweeting his divorce lawyer was in the Bahamas until July 11 and advised him not to do anything until that point. But then he failed to show up for a felony violation probation check, leading to an outstanding warrant for his arrest… So he didn’t show up to court this morning. (Teen Mom Truth also confirmed Courtland didn’t actually have a lawyer, which is so surprising because his story about the Bahamas seemed really credible.)

With her divorce now behind her, Jenelle is free to marry boyfriend Nathan Griffith. Although they still aren’t engaged, Jenelle hinted earlier this year that she was looking to tie the knot before too long.

“We’re not engaged yet or anything, but soon we might be,” she said. “We don’t want to make the wrong decision, and at the same time, we don’t want to give the image out that ‘Jenelle’s still married and now she’s engaged.’”

UPDATE – Jenelle shared her excitement and appreciation for her fans’ words of support on Twitter:

And it appears that Jenelle’s mom Barbara “Babs” Evans was also excited about the news! At least I think she was excited — her apparent lack of texting skills make it difficult to be sure:

Oh, and former Mr. Jenelle Evans also chimed in with his excitement at officially being a single man again:
