We’ve officially got ourselves a new Bachelor!
During the After the Rose special last night, following Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock’s season finale, host Chris Harrison announced the latest star for ABC’s long-running show.
By most accounts, the decision came down to suitors Zak Waddell or Juan Pablo Galavis. In the end, the latter got the nod as the retired soccer professional and single dad is now officially the next Bachelor.
The 32-year-old, it was his birthday yesterday, said:
“It was hard to make the decision. I’m going to find hopefully the person who is going to join me and my daughter. That’s what I’m looking for.”
Harrison said viewers can expect the newest installment of The Bachelor featuring Juan Pablo to air in January.
