Country singer Wynonna Judd has married her little drummer fiance Cactus Moser, pa rum pum pum pum! The ceremony took place at sunset on June 10 on Wynonna’s farm in Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee. The bride, 48, can be seen above in her Houri Barahimi wedding dress and trademark long red hair.
This week’s issue of Us Weekly has more photos and details from the service, including the fact that Wynonna was barefoot and her husband, a 55-year-old drummer from her band The Big Noise, kept it country with a tuxedo complimented by a vest, pocket watch, and holster. Yeeeeee haw!
Wynonna Judd and Cactus Moser announced their engagement last December and have been dating since 2009. The marriage is Wynonna’s third after splitting from businessman Arch Kelly III ((the father of her two children) in 1998 and divorcing her second husband, D.R. Roach in 2007 after they were married four years.
Speaking of Wynonna Judd’s children, Grace, 16, and Elijah, 17 were both present for the nuptials. The same can’t be said for Wynonna’s more famous relatives as her sister Ashley Judd and mom Naomi Judd were not in attendance.
Why not indeed! Congratulations to Wynonna and Cactus! Let’s just hope Wynonna doesn’t let the absence of her sister and mother cause her to make the rash decision to change her name, though. I don’t like the prospects of an entertainer named Wynonna Moser. Cactus Judd on the other hand…
