Viral Korean music video Gangnam Style by PSY will change your life – for the better
In case you were wondering what the next huge Youtube viral sensation is going to be, here is your answer. Channeling LMFAO with a colorful, surreal spin is South Korea’s Park Jae Sang, or PSY, with his new music video for the song “Gangnam Style,” which is already taking the internet by storm with well over 10 million views and counting.
The video features PSY, a slightly stocky Korean gentleman, as he horserace dances his way through Gangnam, an affluent district in Seoul, South Korea. Backdrops for PSY include a children’s playground, a snowy tunnel, two older fellas playing mahjong, a subway car, and riverside yoga class full of hot ladies in colorful short shorts.
Some of my favorite moments include PSY walking confidently with two models under each arm as some sort of sticky white substance is blown in their faces. The models can be seen reacting as any human would as the stuff begins to cover their faces – meanwhile PSY remains utterly impervious! And then there’s PSY’s softer side — literally — as he cozies up to a topless heavy-set man in a sauna.
But, I have to admit that my favorite scene of all is the one featuring the sexiest red-headed Korean woman I have ever seen! When she starts horseracing beside PSY my manliness and emotions got so energized I literally wept testosterone.
Heeeeeeyyyyyyyyy, sexy layday!
Oh no wait, I take that back. I think my favorite favorite “moment” is his tri-fold tuxedo shirt with three separate lines of buttons!
That is Gangnam gangsta y’all!
The infectiously ridiculous tune and visuals have landed PDY a number one spot on Billboard’s K-Pop charts, but of course it was all foreseen by PSY, who included this description with the video:
“The song is characterized by its strongly addictive beats and lyrics, and is thus certain to penetrate the foundations of modern philosophy.”
I can thing of no argument to dispute the claim. Modern philosophy, and modern society, consider yourself penetrated.
(This is soooooo much better than Rebecca Black.)
