VIDEO PHOTOS Amanda Bynes emerges, inspires conflicting reports about her behavior
Amanda Bynes was photographed at an airport restaurant at the Los Angeles airport last night, but reports about how she was behaving are conflicting.
According to the Instagram user who shared the top picture, Amanda claimed a large table for herself and was acting erratically. The Instagram user said she briefly interacted with Amanda, who immediately began talking about herself.
“She was like ‘Well I sat myself one of the hostesses looked really upset and.. Blah blah blah’ She just started making s**t up dude and then I was just like ‘no problem girl,'” said the Instagram user, who has since deleted the post. “She started putting on tons of make up and making weird faces and talking to herself. She’s not well.”
TMZ also got pictures from the restaurant, which show Amanda was wearing a lot of makeup and making some unusually expressive faces while cutting her food.

However, according to someone who was reportedly on the subsequent flight with Amanda, the former child star was “actually very sweet and polite.” The same seems to be true in this video from Life & Style. In it, Amanda sounds polite — if understandably paranoid about other people.
When Amanda arrived in New York City this morning, she was pictured a large bandage on her cheek, as seen in other pictures obtained by TMZ. That could corroborate her stylist’s story that Amanda wasn’t attending FIDM classes only because she was having some small facial procedures.
“She had all plans to finish school, but she had a few procedures done and didn’t want to be in public at FIDM,” that stylist, Lindsey White, told People this week. The same stylist was pictured with Amanda yesterday. “It sucks that somebody doesn’t even want to go outside to a restaurant because they’re so paranoid about the way they look because they’ve been so trashed by the media.”
What is clear is that Amanda didn’t make a wise choice drove while under the influence last weekend. Her parents also haven’t been in communication with her since their conservatorship ended in June — and the fact that she’s now on the opposite side of the country from the people who really care about her likely isn’t good.
Unfortunately, if Amanda’s behavior really is erratic, it will take an incident similar to when she set a woman’s driveway on fire for her parents’ to regain control of her legal and medical decisions.
“Once [the conservatorship] has ended, it’s a ‘hard expire,'” a source told E! News. “The process has to start again. Well, the process cannot start again with just a DUI. It’s going to require a 5150 type situation again. She is not there yet.”
