Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars New Cast

Filming for the new season of WEtv’s Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars is about to begin “with some of the most dramatic TV personalities” yet, according to the network.

“All is fair in love and war… until it isn’t,” the network said in a statement on Thursday. “For two weeks, five couples will be placed in a house to work on their relationships, and see if what they have is worth fighting for or worth leaving.”

Likely the most recognizable faces in the Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars cast are Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who’ve been together since the early days of The Hills in 2006. They still struggle to agree on when to have kids: “Heidi desperately wants them now, while Spencer is more interested in going out and having fun.”

Also on the show are Natalie Nunn, from Bad Girls Club, and her husband, Jacob Payne. Both already participated in WEtv’s Bridezillas in 2012, but have since weathered a number of cheating rumors. Here Natalie is in 2012 talking about some of her personality traits that may cause issues in a relationship.

Also in the cast are R&B Divas‘ Syleena Johnson and husband Kiwane Garris, a retired NBA player. The pair has two sons together, “but busy schedules and taking care of their children has caused a disconnect.” After trying out casual couples therapy, they seek a more intensive counseling experience.

Survivor costars Tyson Apostol and Rachel Foulger were forced to turn against each other on Blood vs. Water and still haven’t decided whether their relationship is “worth fighting for.” They’ve been together for five years, but are afraid of making the next step by getting married.

The final couple is Real Housewives of New York City‘s Aviva Drescher and husband Reid Drescher, who struggle to deal with his busy schedule as a Wall Street investment banker and her “public blowups.”

“Aviva’s affinity for being famous, her cruel new TV friends and destructive self-internet searches are driving a wedge between them,” WEtv said in a statement. “Aviva cannot read a single thing without taking it to heart, and Reid is tired of living in her drama.”

Notably missing from the Marriage Boot Camp roster is Jersey Shore‘s The Situation and his fiancée, even though his lawyer said they were due to participate this week. Maybe then’ll come in later as a “mystery couple,” à la Couples Therapy.

Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars films this month. The season will premiere in 2015.
