Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has confirmed that he will star in the upcoming film adaptation of Baywatch!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount has been trying to move forward for years with a feature film based on the wildly successful show starring David Hasselhoff that ran from 1989-2001.
Here’s what The Rock had to say via Instagram:

The film will be directed by the comedy writing team of Sean Anders and John Morris (We’re the Millers).
