It’s been seven weeks since Kim Kardashian gave birth to daughter North West, and since that time the 32-year-old mom has basically been in hiding, with no red carpet events, paparazzi-captured trips to the gym, or even television appearances — until now! Kim made her first official appearance — albeit via pre-recorded video — on today’s episode of her mom Kris Jenner’s talk show!
There is no official clip of Kim’s appearance yet (probably because The Kris Jenner Show airs at different times all over the country and they wouldn’t want to make it available online before it airs), so we have to settle for this homemade Youtube clip uploaded by a viewer. The video’s not too great, but you can hear Kim’s message clearly!
“Hey mom, I just wanted to say congratulations on your new show. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there in person, but I’m just loving life a little bit too much at home right now.” She then adds, “But I watch you every single day and you are so amazing. You really are born to do this. So I just want to say I love you and have an amazing show.”
What you don’t see in the clip above is that the Kim video was actually a surprise and was introduced by guest Sean “Diddy” Combs as a preview of his new Revolt network. You also don’t get to hear Kris’ reaction when she seems a bit emotional and says, “You did make me cry… Thank you Kimmy . . . That made me cry… Thank you Kimmy, thank you Sean.”
