Kris Jenner will be on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season (and maybe beyond)

Good news for people hoping to see Kris Jenner finally hamming it up alongside her BFF Kyle Richards on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (or for anyone wanting a good hate-watch). Thanks to Kyle herself, we’ve got the first bit of confirmed Kris Jenner RHOBH gossip in ages: specifically, that Kris is all but certain to appear on the show’s upcoming eleventh season.

Kyle dropped the news casually, during a red carpet interview with ET at BravoCon this past weekend. Noting that Kyle (and Lisa Rinna) appeared on Keeping Up With The Kardashians a couple of weeks ago, the interviewer asked Kyle if Kris Jenner might return the favor on a new episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Kyle, ever the coy saleswoman, responded thusly:

“Stay tuned…” Richards said while giving a teasy look. “I’m just saying, you’ll have to tune in this season and see for yourself.”

With any luck, we’ll get to see the two of them plotting the next Kardashian double pregnancy. And this is hardly the Kris Jenner RHOBH news fans eager for a proper reality TV union have been waiting for. But it is a start.

After all, Kris and Kyle have been close friends for the entirety of Kyle’s daughter Alexia’s life and then some. Kyle opened up about the long friendship she and Kris share in a People feature earlier this year, calling the momager “an incredible friend” and “unbelievably supportive.”

“For someone who has so much going on in her life, she never forgets anything,” Kyle added. “[Kris] has been so good to me, so thoughtful. She is like family.”

So it was basically foreordained that these two would appear on each others’ shows at some point. Devotées will also recall that this is not the first time the Kris Jenner RHOBH talk has heated up: a few years back, Kris was said to “love” the idea of joining the Beverly Hills cast (which, at the time, was said to be close to losing Lisa Rinna).

The only serious hitch, of course, is that Kris has her own responsibilities as the star and executive producer of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Whether or not there was room for her in the cast, Kris apparently didn’t think she had the time to film both shows and oversee final edits for KUWTK.

Not that the lack of a formal arrangement has stopped Kris and Kyle from sharing their time together on social media. Last April, they started another wave of gossip with their #nochella photo, taken as the two women (plus Kathy Hilton and Faye Resnick) fled the thousands of Coachella festival-goers and camped out at their neighboring Palm Springs houses instead:
