You better car wreckognize! It’s The Hunger Games meets The Redneck Games y’all!
Though she may be one of Hollywood’s elite, Jennifer Lawrence is not immune to the charms of reality show sensation Honey Boo Boo! During her appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno last night the Academy Award winning actress explained how her obsession caused her to get in an automobile accident.
While driving in Georgia, Jennifer came across a breast cancer awareness parade complete with patrons wearing sashes which read “Boobs,” but Jennifer thought they said “Boo Boo” and immediately became excited over the thought of possibly coming face to face with THE Honey Boo Boo.
“I thought it was saying ‘Boo Boo,'” Jennifer recalls. “So I was like, ‘Whoa, does that mean there’s Honey Boo Boo? So I started craning my neck and I saw a little girl, and I was like, ‘That’s Honey Boo Boo!'” …and that’s when Jennifer crashed into the vehicle in front of her.
As if that weren’t embarrassing enough, Jennifer then had to explain to the other driver why she wasn’t focused on the road. “I’m sorry that I hit your family,” she said. “I thought I saw Honey Boo Boo.” My guess that is, in the state of Georgia, that might actually be a valid excuse. There’s no telling how many accidents have occurred there because of people thinking they rubberneckognized HBB!
Oh, and no, it wasn’t actually Honey Boo Boo who Jennifer saw.
