VIDEO Homemade live-action remake of Toy Story is awesome.

Live Action Toy Story creators Jonason Pauley Jesse Perrotta

Two teenagers from Arizona, Jonason Pauley and Jesse Perrotta, decided they would do a live-action re-enactment of Toy Story, as in the entire film!

As you could imagine, this was a time-consuming undertaking to say the least. In the end it took Jonason and Jesse over two years and around $1,000 to make. They enlisted the help of about 150 friends and family to take on roles as extras while using audio from the original work.

Upon completion, they sought permission from Pixar to upload their homemade masterpiece to YouTube and the company obliged. It turned out to be a great decision for both parties, as the clip has garnered over 4 million views since its premiere on January 12th.

You probably don’t have the time to catch the entire thing but here it is anyways just in case you want to later. I grabbed a few caps that I’ll include in a gallery down below for examples.

Ladies and gentlemen, Live Action Toy Story:

That’s just amazing… As promised, here’s some grabs of Pauley and Perrotta’s labor of love:
